New Jersey SkyCats Congratulate Fourth Person to Emerge

New Jersey SkyCats News Release


Mahwah, NJ—February 21, 2005—The New Jersey SkyCats are happy to announce that Marketing and Promotions Specialist Jeffery Atkins just accepted two new positions with two professional teams in the area, the New Jersey Xtreme and the New Jersey Jackals.

Atkins currently serves as Marketing and Promotions Specialist in addition to being the Mascot Coordinator for SkyCats mascot ‘Shimmy' says he is ready to take his talents to another level. Atkins is famous for creating and developing new ideas for Shimmy on and off the court. Atkins will continue to pursue his mascot and marketing talents with the New Jersey Xtreme a team in the National Indoor Football League as well as serve as the Mascot Coordinator for the New Jersey Jackals Baseball team.

SkyCats owner Ron Eford stated "It is my goal as an owner to get players and front office staff jobs in the field that they desire. I want everyone to learn from us and then advance in their field. Jeffery heavily contributed to our success this season. We were grateful he was a part of our organization this season." Atkins is the fourth person to emerge from the organization this season. The entire team would like to thank Atkins for both his time and effort with the SkyCats and wish him the best of luck with all of his future endeavors.
