February 25, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
New Jersey SkyCats News Release

Mahwah- The New Jersey Skycats announced that star shooting guard Cheyne Gadson has signed a deal to play over seas in England for the remainder of the season. Ron Eford made the announcement earlier today.

"Cheyne is overqualified for this job athletically, however financially it made sense for him to take it at this time." Eford said "It is my goal as a coach to get every player the maximum exposure in the NBA and internationally. Cheyne is the 5th person from the Skycats organization that has moved on."

Gadson averaged 22.3 points 7.3 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game while playing with the Skycats. Gadson played in the NBDL and was in training camp with the Washington Wizards earlier this season and becomes the fifth player that has gained a contract to play basketball overseas.
