Skycats play Maryland in first round of ABA playoffs

New Jersey SkyCats News Release


Mahwah- The New Jersey Skycats will be competing in the playoffs against the Maryland Nighthawks in Maryland on Sunday on March 6th.

"We are elated that we made the playoffs in just our first year of operation" Said Ron owner Ron Eford. "We graduated four players to international contracts and one front office staff, I thank all of our staff and fans for making the Skycats a first class operation."

The Skycats are 2-3 against Maryland during the regular season, and split the two games in the beginning season at Maryland. Skycats All-Star Derrick Washington averaged 16.5 points per game in the five against the Nighthawks.
