Lake Charles, Louisiana Department of Recreation to get ABA balls

Indianapolis, IN. The City of Lake Charles, Louisiana Department of Recreation and Parks is the fourth recipient of ABA red, white and blue basketballs as part of the league's program to provide the nation's youth leagues with basketballs.

The City of Lake Charles sponsors leagues for kids 5-14 years old. The league has 65 gteams and services approximately 800 kids under Sports Supervisor Al Purdy. The ABA, the ABA Foundation and the Lake Charles Hurricanes are pleased to be able to help.
