Reign to hold tryout

Portland Reign News Release
The Portland Reign has announced the scheduling of the next free agent tryout camp set for June 12 and 13, 2004. The camp will be conveniently located at Portland Community College, Sylvania campus in Portland Oregon.
The Portland Reign, one of the American Basketball Association League's newly formed expansion teams will be looking for talented players to kick off its inaugural season this November.
The Portland Reign successfully completed the first free agent tryout camp on April 24 and 25, 2004. As with the free agent camp in April, the June free agent camp will have numerous team representatives from The Portland Reign, as well as scouts and coaches from other leagues in attendance. The top players from the April free agent camp have been invited back for the June free agent camp.
Antonio Harvey, Head Coach of The Portland Reign stated, "During the April 24 & 25 camp we were pleased to see many talented aspiring professional basketball players. These players displayed a great deal of skill and passion for the game. Many players expressed to The Portland Reign's staff and local media that the camp was a positive experience and a useful tool in helping them achieve their goal of becoming a professional basketball player. It is The Portland Reign's desire to acquire not only skilled basketball players, but players with integrity and aspirations to be involved in helping local communities in need."
All players on the roster will be determined from the free agent tryout camps, so registration is necessary in order to participate.
