The ABA Gwinnett Gwizzlies franchise think 6"8 Sam Cox has the complete package as a ballplayer as he enters his professional basketball career in July at the famed NBA Summer Pro League in Long Beach.
"Hollywood always is looking for a new face" says Embry Malone, Gwizzlies owner who was an intern at NBC studio while in graduate school at Pepperdine University. Malone credits Lisa Van Wagner, his agent, a Montgomery,Alabama,Attorney for pushing Cox credentials. Cox parents work at Auburn University and he attended Georgia Southern University. While in college he was known for his leaping and shooting skills.
