Reign updates date of press conference

Portland Reign News Release
Portland, Oregon â September 9, 2004. The American Basketball Association's professional men's basketball team, The Portland Reign, will hold a press conference at The Oregon Convention Center on October 5, 2004 at 2:00 PM. The Portland Reign is Oregon's newest men's professional basketball team and will take the court on November 18, 2004 for its inaugural season.
The founder of The Portland Reign, Mary "MJ" Liss, will update advancements in The Portland Reign organization and will make several major announcements, including that the Oregon Convention Center will host 15 games in an arena developed in a 60,000 square foot exhibit hall holding approximately 4,000 fans. The arena can only be described as inspirational and will be unveiled at The Portland Reign press conference set for September 14, 2004.
Liss expressed, "I believe the ABA is truly the premier League in affording aspiring basketball players and coaches to take their game to the next level. I believe the League's support and commitment of its teams is extraordinary and will insure the success and longevity of the League.
