
New Jersey Devils Reduce Roster to 23

Newark, NJ - The National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils today reduced their roster to 23 players, by assigning 29 players to the American Hockey League's Lowell Devils. The announcement was made by Devils' President/CEO/General Manager Lou Lamoriello.
Assigned to Lowell were goaltenders Dave Caruso, Scott Clemmensen, Jeff Frazee, and Jason Smith; defensemen Matthew Corrente, Tyler Eckford, Mark Fraser, Jay Leach, Olivier Magnan-Grenier, Rosario Ruggeri, and Matthew Spiller; and forwards Nicklas Bergfors, Tyler Burton, Eric Castonguay, Kevin Cormier, Patrick Davis, Jon DiSalvatore, Stephen Gionta, Matt Halischuk, Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond, Brad Mills, Benoit Mondou, Ryan Murphy, Rod Pelley, Pascal Rheaume, Brad Snetsinger, Michael Swift, Chad Wiseman and Vladimir Zharkov.
