FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution (13-3-4; 43 pts.) will look to extend the club's unbeaten run to eight games when they host D.C. United (8-8-3; 29 pts.) on Wednesday, August 18 at Gillette Stadium. The match kicks off at 7:00 p.m. ET and airs locally on WSBK-TV38 and myRITV in Rhode Island. The contest is also available on the radio on 98.5 The Sports Hub and 1260 AM Nossa Radio. The match streams live for out-of-market subscribers on ESPN+.

Winners of six of their last seven matches, the Revolution head into Wednesday's match with a six-point edge in the Supporters' Shield race and a 12-point lead in the Eastern Conference standings. New England, unbeaten since July 7, stretched to a season-high seven games without a loss by defeating Toronto FC, 2-1, north of the border on Saturday night. The victory was the Revs' sixth of the season away from home, while the team also continues to make Gillette Stadium a fortress this year. New England owns the league's best home-winning percentage (.833) with a 7-1-1 record in Foxborough.

Wednesday's match features two of most in-form strikers in the game in New England's Gustavo Bou (12 goals) and D.C. United's Ola Kamara (11), who rank second and third in the MLS Golden Boot race, respectively. Bou has recorded 11 goals in his last 13 games, including five scored at home. The Argentinian delivered his fifth game-winning goal of the year in the 83rd minute of Saturday's victory, his first from the penalty spot in 26 MLS goals. Adam Buksa, who owns this week earned a call-up to the Poland National Team for September's UEFA World Cup Qualifiers, drew the foul in the box to earn the penalty.

In addition to Bou and Buksa's first-rate form in the attack, the Revolution are getting valuable contributions from throughout the roster. In total, 11 different players have found the back of the net, while a dozen different players have notched an assist for the league's highest-scoring offense (37 goals). Canadian international Tajon Buchanan opened the scoring in his native Toronto with a powerful header to finish off a DeJuan Jones cross. The goal was Buchanan's fourth of the year, a career high, while Jones' assist was his fourth, also a personal best.

Goalkeeper Matt Turner logged a three-save effort in Toronto to collect his ninth win of the season, a new career high for the sixth-year pro. Including his six appearances with the USMNT at the Concacaf Gold Cup, the American international carries a 10-game unbeaten streak into Wednesday's match, posting an 0.40 goals-against average and six clean sheets during that span. Ahead of him on the backline, Andrew Farrell has paired with Henry Kessler in central defense for each of the last three games. Farrell is due to set a new Revolution record for minutes played in his next appearance, needing only 26 minutes to pass Shalrie Joseph (22,867) for most regular season action in club history.

The Revolution have won four straight meetings with D.C. United and are unbeaten in the last seven games against the fellow MLS original club. D.C. United enters the midweek match in sixth place in the Eastern Conference and just four points behind second-place New York City FC. The Black-and-Red saw their five-match unbeaten streak snapped in their last outing, a 5-2 loss on the road at Nashville SC on Sunday. First-year Head Coach Hernan Losada's side carries a 2-6-3 away record this season.
