New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - As part of their celebration of Earth Day, the New England Revolution and the New England Revolution Charitable Foundation are calling upon fans to take part in the club's first ever Earth Day recycling initiative. On Saturday, April 25 when the Revs host Real Salt Lake at Gillette Stadium, Revolution fans who show support for sustainable environmental practices will have a chance to bring home a Revolution Charitable Foundation reusable water bottle as part of the club's 2015 Earth Day initiative.
In an effort to promote recycling and the use of reusable water bottles, the Revolution Charitable Foundation will be collecting aluminum cans for recycling as fans enter the stadium through the NRG Plaza and Bank Of America gates. Fans who donate three or more cans at the gates will receive a voucher that they can redeem for a Revolution Charitable Foundation water bottle at the same location following the game. Quantities are limited so fans are recommended to arrive early in order to assure themselves the best possible chance of taking home a water bottle, however all fans are encouraged to participate.
Ahead of that game, Revolution players and members of the Revs' front office will take part in Earth Day activities at the Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary in Attleboro, Mass. on Wednesday, April 22 - the 45th anniversary of the global initiative. Revolution goalkeeper Trevor Spangenberg, and midfielders Steve Neumann and Donnie Smith will lend a helping hand on the day, to assist with efforts to ensure the local wildlife sanctuary continues to be a place for the community to learn and enjoy the beauty of nature for years to come.
Tickets for the Revs' game against Real Salt Lake on April 25 start at just $26 and are on sale now. Four and six-game ticket plans are also available, as are Revolution season tickets, which include tickets to the final 14 Revolution regular-season home games of 2015, as well as one additional match, starting at $293. Fans looking to purchase Revolution season tickets, mini plans or individual game tickets, can do so through the club's official website revolutionsoccer.net or by calling 1-877-GET-REVS.
