New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Searching for its first win since early April, the New England Revolution will travel north of the border this weekend to battle Eastern Conference foe Toronto FC on Saturday, May 23, at BMO Field. The game will be televised live on TV38 beginning at 4 p.m. ET, while the WEEI Radio Network will also carry the action.
New England (2-2-4, 10 pts.) will be looking to snap a five-game winless run in which the club has lost twice and drawn three times, while Toronto (3-3-4, 13 pts.) will be aiming to end a three-game winless streak of its own (0-1-2). History favors the Revolution, which is undefeated (3-0-2) in five previous meetings with Toronto FC and has outscored its Canadian opponent, 12-4, in those five games. However, the Revs have never won at BMO Field - the site of Saturday's game - having drawn in both previous visits.
This will be the first of two regular-season meetings between New England and Toronto this season, and the only one at BMO Field. The season series will conclude on Aug. 1, when the Revs will host TFC at Gillette Stadium.
