FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Back on top of the overall MLS standings thanks to a crucial home victory over Eastern Conference rival D.C. United, the New England Revolution aim to take down another conference foe, Toronto FC, when the club travels north of the border to meet the Reds on Saturday night at BMO Field. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Soccer Channel at 7:30 p.m., with a live half-hour pregame show beginning at 7 p.m. Radio listeners will be able to tune into the action on the WEEI Radio Network.

After spending just four days in second place in the Eastern Conference, the Revs (11-6-3, 36 pts.) returned to the top of the standings with a 2-1 victory over bitter rival D.C. on Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium, snapping their first two-game losing streak of the season. Meanwhile, Toronto (7-9-4, 25 pts.) has struggled recently, earning just one win its last eight league matches and dropping into a tie for sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

Saturday night's showdown will be the second and final meeting of the season between the two sides, and the only meeting at Toronto's BMO Field. In the season's first match-up on June 28 at Gillette Stadium, New England earned a 2-1 victory behind a pair of goals by Steve Ralston, who earned MLS Player of the Week honors for his performance.

With that victory in this season's previous meeting, the Revs continued their impressive form against TFC in the four-game, all-time series. The Revolution boasts an undefeated 3-0-1 record against Toronto and has out-scored the Reds, 11-3, in those four matches. New England has won all three games in the series played at Gillette Stadium, while the clubs played to a 2-2 draw in the only previous meeting at BMO Field on Oct. 20, 2007.
