New And Improved Blue Rocks Online Store Up And Running

Wilmington, DE - The Wilmington Blue Rocks have unveiled a completely revamped online team store. The new "Quarry" homepage allows fans a more convenient, complete, and enjoyable Internet shopping experience.

There are many new features fans will enjoy, but perhaps the biggest is access to more views of individual products. Patrons can now look at up to six pictures of anything in the store they have interest in. This will allow potential customers to see items from all angles, and get a close up look at the design of a product.

From a practical standpoint, the new "Quarry" homepage is much easier to navigate. It features search engines that break items down by cost and departments. Plus it also has two new categories: "Featured Items" and "Just Arrived." This will give Blue Rocks fans a look at all of the fresh new merchandise available as it comes in, as well as an item that has been particularly popular with Blue Rocks fans.

The Blue Rocks open their 2009 season on April 9 against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Atlanta Braves) in South Carolina with the first of an eight-game road trip. Frawley Stadium will see its first game action of the year on April 17 when the Blue Crew kicks off a six-game homestand with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch against the Lynchburg Hillcats (Pittsburgh Pirates). Fans of old-fashioned in-person shopping don't have to wait that long for their Blue Rocks gear though. The "Quarry" at Frawley Stadium is open throughout the off-season, weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
