July 13, 2005 - NBA G League (G League)
New Mexico Thunderbirds News Release

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., July 13, 2005 - The 2005-06 season for NBDL Albuquerque will begin with a pair of road games in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 18th and 19th. NBDL Albuquerque will then host the Tulsa team for Opening Weekend on Friday, November 25th at 7:00 PM and Sunday, November 27th at 3:00 PM.

The NBDL Albuquerque schedule includes 19 weekend dates with nine Fridays, five Saturdays and five Sundays. Evening games will begin at 7:00 PM and Sunday afternoon games will be conveniently scheduled for a 3:00 PM start.

"We did everything we could to make the games convenient for the entire family," said team president Billy Widner. "Only two of our 23 home games are on a school night and only one game is scheduled directly opposite a UNM game. I'm a Lobos fan too so that was a top priority for us."

The 48-game season is comprised of 23 games at Tingley Coliseum, 23 traditional road games and a pair of showcase games to be played at the 2006 MLK Showcase, January 15-16 in Fayetteville (N.C.).

"The initial response has been great," said Widner. "People are really excited to see NBA players in Albuquerque. The entire city continues to show us great support and that is a direct reflection of great leaders like Mayor Martin Chavez and Governor Bill Richardson."

Single game ticket prices range from $9 to $25 and season ticket holders enjoy a discount of 10 to 20 percent. Season ticket packages are on sale and start as low as $48. To purchase tickets or find more information, please call (505) 268-NBDL or visit www.nbdlalbuquerque.com.
