TULSA, Okla., July 13, 2005 - NBDL Tulsa will open the 2005-06 National Basketball Development League season with an exciting 48 game schedule featuring 23 home and 23 road dates including 17 weekend dates, at Expo Square Pavilion.
Formerly the defending NBDL champion Asheville Altitude, NBDL Tulsa tips off the 2005-06 season in their new home of Oklahoma, featuring 10 exciting Saturday dates highlighted by 74 percent of the games being played on the weekend.
"Our schedule couldn't be better," said team president Joe Berry. "With 16 games on Friday and Saturday, we can offer our fans from all over Eastern Oklahoma a chance to see fantastic basketball and have an enjoyable evening of family entertainment at affordable prices."
The schedule tips off with consecutive home games against NBDL Albuquerque beginning Friday and Saturday, November 18-19. Official game times will be announced at later date.
The 48 regular season game schedule features 23 home and 23 away dates and includes year two of the NBDL's MLK Showcase January 15-16 in Fayetteville (N.C.), which will feature eight D-League games in two days.
NBDL Tulsa season tickets are on sale now and offer numerous options for the entertainment needs of the entire family. Season ticket packages start as low as $51 and can be purchased by calling (918) 585-8444.
