HAPPY DAYS: Houston Rockets two-way player Darius Days was named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played Monday, Jan. 23 through Sunday, Jan. 29. Days averaged a double-double of 29.3 points and 11.0 rebounds in three games (3-0) for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. On Jan. 24, the former LSU standout tallied 40 points and 11 rebounds in a 124-120 overtime victory over the Mexico City Capitanes. Days and Rio Grande Valley will visit the Ontario Clippers tonight at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
ON THE RISE: Seven NBA G League players will participate in the 2023 Jordan Rising Stars, which takes place on Friday, Feb.17 at 9 p.m. ET on TNT from Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City as part of NBA All-Star 2023. The seven players are: NBA G League Ignite's Sidy Cissoko, Scoot Henderson, Mojave King and Leonard Miller, Memphis Grizzlies two-way player Kenneth Lofton Jr., the Delaware Blue Coats' Mac McClung, and Los Angeles Lakers two-way player Scotty Pippen Jr. 2011 NBA Champion Jason Terry, a current Utah Jazz assistant coach and former head coach of the NBA G League's Grand Rapids Gold, will coach the team.

LONG ISLAND ICED THREE
A seven-game winning streak has helped the Long Island Nets surge to the top of the Eastern Conference standings. The Nets, led by first-year head coach Ronnie Burrell, lead the league in three pointers made (227). Long Island has been fueled by Brooklyn Nets two-way player David Duke Jr. (21.7 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 4.1 apg) and guard Jordan Bowden (left, 16.9 ppg, 4.2 rpg). The Nets will try for their eighth consecutive victory when they host the Motor City Cruise on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on NBAGLeague.com.
On Jan. 26, San Antonio two-way center-forward Charles Bassey registered a double-double of 40 points and 16 rebounds in Austin's 131-108 victory over the Texas Legends.
On Jan. 27, Wisconsin Herd forward Paris Bass posted 35 points and 12 assists in a 115-112 victory over the Greensboro Swarm.
Also on Jan. 27, Oklahoma City Blue guard Jaden Shackelford connected on seven three-pointers, leading his team to a 125-123 victory over the Iowa Wolves.
Mexico City Capitanes guard Mason Jones tallied 29 points, 11 assists and five rebounds in a 120-117 win over the Texas Legends on Jan. 29.
