TRAIL BLAZERS RECALL LUKE BABBITT FROM IDAHO STAMPEDE The Portland Trail Blazers have recalled forward Luke Babbitt from the NBA Development League's Idaho Stampede, it was announced by General Manager Rich Cho. In four games with the Stampede, Babbitt posted averages of 18.0 points (20-21 FT) and 5.8 rebounds in 27.3 minutes. He totaled highs of 23 points, nine rebounds and two blocks on Dec. 11 vs. the Utah Flash.
Scottie Reynolds scored 18 points, and Vernon Goodridge had 18 points and 10 rebounds, to lead Springfield over Idaho in overtime. Luke Jackson and Antoine Walker scored 27 points apiece for the Stampede.
Orien Greene scored 22 points, while Brandon Costner added 14 points and 10 rebounds, to help Utah edge Sioux Falls on the road. Miami Heat assignee Dexter Pittman led Sioux Falls with 22 points.
Trey Johnson scored a game-high 24 points, and Marqus Blakely had 19 points and 13 rebounds, to lead Bakersfield to the win at Rio Grande Valley. Patrick Sullivan led the Vipers with 21 points.
Vernon Hamilton scored 24 points, while Mike Anderson chipped in 20 points and 14 rebounds, to lead Dakota over Texas. Sean Williams led the Legends with 23 points and 14 rebounds.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS: A look at NBA D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games:
27 players with NBA D-League experience competed in eight NBA games last night, three as starters.
Philadelphia's Lou Williams had 24 points and six rebounds in a win over Orlando.
Washington's Andray Blatche tallied 20 points and 12 rebounds in a loss to Miami.
Orlando's Brandon Bass had 18 points and eight rebounds in a loss to Philadelphia.
Utah's CJ Miles scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a win over Milwaukee.
