The North Shore Navigators (25-29) and the Pittsfield Suns (26-26) both threatened with rallies, but it was the North Shore Navigators that eventually took advantage of them in a 3-1 win at Wahconah Park.
The fact that the North Shore Navigators grouped all of their runs into the fourth inning helped them take advantage of their hits.
Kyle Gauthier struck out eight, paving the way for a the North Shore Navigators win. Gauthier allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk over six innings.
A bright spot for the Pittsfield Suns in the defeat was Perry Kulaga, who allowed only three runs while striking out six.
Kulaga (4-5) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns.
