TULSA, OK - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals took game three of their series over the Tulsa Drillers 6-2 Wednesday Afternoon at ONEOK Field. With the win, the Naturals (22-17) take the series, and will look for a sweep Thursday night.

Naturals Starter Ryan Dennick (1-1) was solid over his five innings of work, allowing just three hits while striking out four over five innings of work.

Tulsa (24-15) started Dan Houston (4-4) was equally impressive, allowing just two hits over the first four innings, while striking out seven over his 6 and 2/3 innings including striking out the side in the fourth.

The first run of the game came off one swing of Paulo Orlando's bat in the sixth, as he hit his first tome run of the season to left field, putting the Naturals up 1-0.

Northwest Arkansas came back in the sixth to score two runs and chase Houston from the game. Sharlon Schoop doubled, with Johnny Whittleman following with a walk. After Mario Lisson grounded out, moving the runners up 90 feet, Eric Duncan hit a hard single to center, plating the two runs, and putting the Naturals up 3-0.

Tulsa got the two runs back in the bottom of the inning off reliever Michael Mariot. With a runner on, Kiel Roling hit a home run to left, inching the Drillers to within one. Mariot settled in, retiring the next seven batters he faced.

In the eighth, Johnny Whittleman doubled, and was replaced by pinch runner Nick Van Stratten, who advanced to thrid on a wild pitch, and scored on Lisson's single. Then, Duncan struck again, blasting a two-run home run to the Drillers bullpen in right center field, putting the Naturals up 6-2.

After allowing a single to lead off the ninth, Patrick Keating struck out the side to secure the victory.

The Naturals and Drillers will play game four of the series Thursday night at 7:05 PM. Noel Arguelles (1-3, 6.61) takes the hill for the Naturals, while Jorge De La Rosa, on a Major League rehab assignment, toes the rubber for Tulsa. The game can be heard on News/Talk 1030 AM KFAY.
