TULSA, Okla. - Northwest Arkansas (28-32) dropped the series finale to the Tulsa Drillers (34-25) on Friday night, 3-1, in front of a sell-out crowd at ONEOK Field. Right-hander, Ashton Goudeau tossed 6.2 innings of three-run baseball; but fell short of capturing his second win on the season.

The Naturals took nearly nine innings to find a run. Corey Toups opened the final frame with a sharp single to left-field and scored two batters later. Mauricio Ramos unloaded on a Caleb Dirks delivery and belted a double into the right-field gap to plate Toups, cutting the deficit to 3-1. That is all the closer the Naturals got on Friday night in the loss.

Goudeau (1-3) worked 6.2 innings, allowed three runs on five hits to the Drillers and struck out five. Tulsa hit two solo home runs off the Naturals' right-hander in the first and third innings and plated the club's third run in the fifth.

Left-hander, Tim Hill, worked a scoreless 1.1 innings in relief of Goudeau and has now not allowed a run over his last six outings, spanning across 8.0 innings of work.

Ramos led the offense with his second consecutive two-hit game and drove in his 25th run of the season with the double in the ninth. Toups extended his on-base streak with his single in the final inning to 14 consecutive games. Ryan O'Hearn doubled for the second consecutive game and his 11th on the year.

Northwest Arkansas heads to central Arkansas to take on the in-state rivals in North Little Rock, Ark. the Arkansas Travelers. Right-hander, Pedro Fernandez (0-1, 3.52) will make his first start as a Natural in the series opener at Dickey-Stephens Ballpark.
