July 15, 2010 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Hagerstown Suns News Release
On Saturday, July 17th, Nationals starter Scott Olsen will appear in a rehab outing for the Hagerstown Suns.
Olsen, who went 2-2 with a 3.77 ERA in eight starts for the Nationals before landing on the DL in late May, is scheduled to start the game against the Rome Braves. First pitch is set for 7:05 and gates will open at Municipal Stadium at 6:00.
Olsen will be the second Washington National to make a rehab start in Hagerstown. In 2008, Austin Kearns played in two games at Municipal Stadium with the Suns. In addition, the Suns had both Matt Chico and Calvin "Pokey" Reese as Minor League Rehab players in 2008.
