
Nationals, Pelicans opener rained out

WOODBRIDGE, Va.- The first game of the Potomac Nationals four-game set with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans has been postponed due to persistent rain. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader tomorrow, Tuesday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets for Monday's game can be exchanged at the Potomac Nationals Box Office for a future date excluding July 4th and the playoffs.
The Potomac Nationals series opener with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans will start tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. as right-hander Jhonny Nunez (0-4, 6.16) tries to win his first game of the season against right-hander Deunte Heath (4-1, 2.14) in game one of the doubleheader. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after and will feature 22-year-old Terrence Engles (0-2, 10.80) against righty Kyle Cofield (1-4, 4.50). Both games will be seven innings.
Tuesday is also Kids Night at Pfitzner Stadium as two children 12 and under get in free with a paid adult admission. Everyone is invited out onto the field for Family Toss between the first and second game. For more information, please call (703) 590-2311 or visit www.potomacnationals.com.
