Nationals-Keys Series Finale Washed Out
May 3, 2009 - Carolina League (CarL1)
Potomac Nationals News Release
WOODBRIDGE, Va- With the rain falling steadily and no relief in the forecast, Mother Nature has made it abundantly clear about her intentions for any brave souls planning outdoor activities today.
With more rain scheduled in the forecast throughout the day, the series finale between the Potomac Nationals and the Frederick Keys has been postponed due to inclement weather.
All pregame activities such as picnics have been postponed as well.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on a date that is yet to be determined. The Keys and Nationals face off for only one more series in the season's first half taking place in Frederick June 12-14.
The P-Nats took the first two games of the series from Frederick, winning game one 8-6 in walk-off fashion when Jesus Valdez launched a three-run home run in the bottom of the 13th inning and game two by the score of 8-4 behind a strong mound performance by Erik Arnesen.
Tickets for today's game can be exchanged for a future game during the 2009 season, except July 4th, based on availability. Please contact the ticket office during regular hours to make arrangements to exchange your tickets.
For more information about tickets, daily promotions, and stats on all your favorite P-Nats players, call the ticket office at (703) 590-2311 or log onto www.potomacnationals.com to join the party!
