Potomac Nationals News Release
WOODBRIDGE, Va - The Potomac Nationals would like to issue a retraction for their previous release regarding Wednesday's finale between the P-Nats and the Kinston Indians which was originally scheduled to be a tripleheader beginning at 2:00 p.m. from Pfitzner Stadium.
The Nats and Tribe will now make up only two of the games as part of a doubleheader starting at 5:35 p.m. from "The Pfitz" on Wednesday night.
The initial tilt will be the completion of the suspended game from Memorial Day, which had to be cut short due to a sudden spring storm in the top of the second inning. The K-Tribe had runners on first and second with one out in a scoreless tie. Since the game is still to be continued, it will go a full nine innings.
Following a short break, the two clubs will play a seven-inning finale.
As it is with any rainout at the Pfitz, fans that were holding tickets for the game on May 25 and 26 can be exchanged for a future game during the 2009 season, except July 4th, based on availability. Please contact the Potomac Nationals Ticket Office during regular business hours to make arrangements to exchange your tickets.
For more information on tickets, daily promotions, and everything to satisfy your P-Nats needs, call (703) 590-2311 or log onto www.potomacnationals.com to join the party!
