U18 TEAM VISITS UNIV. OF ALABAMA-HUNTSVILLE: The U.S. National Under-18 Team travels to the University of Alabama-Huntsville for games on Feb. 25 and 26. Puck drop is set for 8:05 p.m. ET at the Von Braun Center on Friday and 4:05 p.m. ET on Saturday.

U17 TEAM LOOKS TO EXTEND STREAK IN USHL: The U.S. National Under-17 Team puts its eight-game win streak on the line this weekend in two United States Hockey League games against the Youngstown Phantoms. Both games take place in Youngstown, Ohio at the Covelli Centre at 7:30 p.m. ET.

U17 TEAM BLANKS MUSKEGON 1-0: Ryan Hartman (West Dundee, Ill.) notched the shootout winner and Collin Olson (Apple Valley, Minn.) earned the shutout as the U.S. National Under-17 Team blanked the Muskegon Lumberjacks, 1-0, in USHL action at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube on Feb. 18.

U18 TEAM SHUTS DOWN CHICAGO, 4-0: Jared Rutledge (Chicago, Ill.) made 25 saves as the U.S. National Under-17 Team blanked the Chicago Steel, 4-0, in USHL action on Feb. 19 at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. Team USA did not allow a goal for the second straight game.

NTDP ALUMNI UPDATE: The Gridiron Club of Greater Boston announced Monday the 15 Division I players who are semifinalists for the 59th Walter Brown Award, presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England. The semifinalists include three National Team Development Program alumni: Yale University forward Chris Cahill (North Andover, Mass./2003-04), Merrimack College goaltender Joe Cannata (Wakefield, Mass./2007-08) and Boston University defenseman David Warsofsky (North Marshfield, Mass./2007-08) ... The St. Louis Blues traded defenseman Erik Johnson (Bloomington, Minn./2004-06) and center Jay McClement to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday (Feb. 19), as well as a conditional 2011 or 2012 first-round draft choice, in exchange for forward Chris Stewart and defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk (New Rochelle, N.Y./2005-07) and a conditional 2011 or 2012 second-round draft choice ... Phil Kessel (Madison, Wis./2003-05) scored with less than five minutes in regulation to give the Toronto Maple Leafs a 2-1 victory over the New York Islanders on Tuesday (Feb. 22) night.
