National Pro Fastpitch Announces Television Schedule

Washington, PA-The National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) announced an agreement with CBS Sports Network for the 2014 season. The Pennsylvania Rebellion, presented by The Coury Financial Group, will host six nationally broadcast games, adding additional flair to their inaugural season.

The first two games under the lights on CBS Sports Network will be contested Monday, July 7th and Tuesday, July 8th against the 2013 NPF defending champions, the USSSA Pride.

Prior to this season, the NPF had partnered with ESPN for national contests but in 2014 the seven-year old league has agreed to terms with CBS Sports Network.

For Comcast subscribers, the games can be seen on Channel 274, 288 or 844 (HD). The programming can also be found on channels 274, 288, 221 and 854, 221 (HD) on DirectTv. Additionally, on DirectTV, 158 (HD) on the DISH Network and channels 94 and 594 (HD) on Verizon Fios.

Other televised games at CONSOL Energy Park include the Chicago Bandits on Monday, July 28th and Tuesday, July 29th will also be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The final two games on the primetime sports cable network will also be Monday August, 11th and Tuesday August, 12th against the Bandits. The start of the game on the 11th will be aired at 8:30 p.m.

In addition to the six games originating from CONSOL Energy Park, the Rebellion will be featured at Firestone Stadium, the home of the Akron Racers on Monday, August 4th and Tuesday, August 5th.
