Nailers to Host Used Sticks & Memorabilia Sale on June 4th

WHEELING, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, have announced the details of a used sticks and memorabilia sale, which will take place at WesBanco Arena on Thursday, June 4th from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The used sticks and memorabilia sale will take place on the front patio of WesBanco Arena, where the Nailers will also be hosting a small cookout with hot dogs and soda. Additionally, the souvenir store will be open for one final blowout sale, with special deals available. Finally, ticket staff members will be present, accepting deposits for season tickets.
The highlight of the sale will be the used sticks, starting with over 30 game used sticks from the 2014-15 season. Some of those sticks feature an autograph from the player who used the stick, and some others are signed by the entire team. There will also be dozens of sticks from previous seasons available, including all-time leading goal scorer Darren Schwartz and all-time winningest goaltender Andy Franck, in addition to Arpad Mihaly, Mark Major, Jean-Philippe Soucy, Joel Laing, and a list of other familiar names.

The Wheeling Nailers will start the 2015-16 season with a two-game road series against the Norfolk Admirals on October 16th and 17th, before playing their home opener on October 24th against the Brampton Beast at 7:35.
