Nailers Name McLure City Center Hotel Host Hotel for 2006 Season

Wheeling, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' Affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, are proud to announce that they have once again, reached an agreement with the McLure City Center Hotel as the team's host hotel for the upcoming 2006-2007 season.

The McLure, formerly the Ramada Plaza City Center Hotel, is located at 1200 Market St. in downtown Wheeling and is within walking distance of WesBanco arena and many dining establishments.

Perfect for out-of-town Nailers fans, the Nailers are offering a special package that includes a one night stay at the McLure, dinner for two at Generations Pub and Restaurant and two tickets to a Nailers home game for just $99.

The McClure also provides a workout facility, meeting room availability and free internet access."We are extremely excited to partner once again with the McLure City Center Hotel," said Nailers Director of Sales Craig Bommer. "The proximity of the hotel to WesBanco Arena should make for a pleasant experience for all hockey fans visiting Wheeling."

The Wheeling Nailers will open their fifteenth season of hockey in the Ohio Valley on October 20th in Charlotte, before returning home on Friday October 27th for their home opener against the Johnstown Chiefs.
