Sarnia Sting News Release

The Sarnia Sting Hockey Club and MyTown Rewards have teamed up to host a post-game concert in Legends Tap & Grill following Thursday's game against the Soo Greyhounds. The feature band on Thursday night will be Rob Jenkins & the Room, playing Top 40, modern and classic rock hits. Listen here

As part of the event, MyTown Rewards awarded 100 tickets to the game & concert to members of the MyTown Rewards app for transactions over this past three weeks, Founder & CEO, Tom Ondrejicka commented, "We couldn't be happier partnering with the Sarnia Sting. Great organization, amazing hockey, pure family fun and now music, it just doesn't get any better. The Sarnia Sting is the best entertainment value in the region," Ondrejicka added. "Where else can you see the stars of tomorrow only minutes away from your home? We want to thank the Sarnia Sting for the opportunity and look forward to working with them in the years to come."

Admission is free of charge for the post-game concert and entrance will be based on a first come, first serve basis.

Sting Director of Marketing & Communications, Dach Hiller comments, "We're happy to partner with our friends at MyTown Rewards on this one. We're always looking for ways to provide extra entertainment for our fans, and we're grateful that our partners are equally enthusiastic about that."

The Sting & MyTown Rewards announced a partnership earlier this season wherein fans can collect points for every purchase at the Sting Box Office or Sarnia Sting Store. Details on the partnership can be found here.

With tickets for Friday's game against Windsor being so limited, the Sting will once again be offering a Box Office special where fans can get tickets to both Thursday and Friday's games for just $30 (while quantities last). The Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday from 9AM - 5PM.

MyTown Rewards is an app consumers can download to collect, and then spend, points by shopping at participating businesses. While apps are not new, MyTown Rewards enables businesses that would not otherwise have the resources to develop this type of technology on their own, to customize their offerings, collect useable data and communicate easily with customers.
