Washington Mystics News Release

Washington, D.C. -Should the Washington Mystics qualify for the 2009 WNBA Playoffs, complimentary shuttle service between the Metro Green Line College Park station and Comcast Center will be provided, the team announced today. The shuttles will be available two hours prior to tip-off and one hour after the game. The first round of the playoffs is scheduled for September 16-21. Dates, times as well as an on-sale date for tickets will be announced once the Mystics secure a playoff berth.

"We recognize the challenges for our fans in terms of transportation to a potential playoff game at Comcast Center," Mystics COO Greg Bibb stated. "As a result we are offering this free service to make the trip as easy as possible. We hope this service allows all of our fans to attend any playoff game we would play at the University of Maryland."

The Mystics are currently battling for a playoff berth and will host the Atlanta Dream for its annual Fan Appreciation game on Saturday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. Season tickets for the 2009 and 2010 seasons as well as group tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Mystics Sales Office at 1-877-DC-HOOP1 or by visiting the Mystics web site at www.washingtonmystics.com.
