Mystics team up with Ashley and Wynonna Judd for YouthAIDS forum

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Mystics Foundation is proud to partner with YouthAIDS to create YouthAIDS Day on July 27th at Verizon Center. The celebrity event will bring together upwards of a thousand local teens to participate in a day-long event beginning with a forum, followed by the Mystics versus Chicago Sky game at 7:00 p.m., and ending with a concert by country music legend Wynonna Judd.

The YouthAIDS forum, which will take place from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., will be hosted by YouthAIDS Global Ambassador Ashley Judd and Youth AIDS Music Ambassador Wynonna Judd, as well as a panel of peer educators from DC based Metro Teen AIDS with the assistance of Hip Hop Forum hosts Adimu and Kira Means. Participants will be educated about the current AIDS crisis in the Washington D.C. area and around the world and will meet young people their age living with AIDS. Moderators Ashley and Wynonna Judd will facilitate dialogue among the youth and help deliver AIDS information..
