
Mustangs to Finish Homestand with Five-Game Tilt vs. Glacier Range Riders

The Billings Mustangs finish off a season-opening seven-game homestand with their first-ever meetings with the Pioneer League's newest franchise, the Glacier Range Riders.
They will begin a five-game series with the Range Riders on Wednesday night at 6:35 p.m., as they welcome in the first-year expansion team. The Range Riders have raised heads to start off their existence, scoring 96 runs over six games against the Rocky Mountain Vibes (including over 20 runs the last two nights), going 5-1 in their season-opening series.
The Mustangs, meanwhile, are coming off an abbreviated two-game series against the Northern Colorado Owlz in which Billings put up ten runs in each contest and came away with a pair of wins before Monday afternoon's game was washed out. Sunday's contest was an especially thrilling 10-7 win in which the Mustangs scored six runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, capped off by a three-run walk-off homer by Gabe Wurtz. Billings will enter the series at 2-3.
Wednesday through Saturday's games will also have 6:35 p.m. first pitch times, while the series and homestand finale on Sunday will begin at 1:05. Every Sunday is a Friends and Family Day,where fans can buy four tickets, four hot dogs, four drinks, four Frosty coupons from Wendy's, and a scorecard for $44.
