Sioux City Musketeers News Release

The Musketeers have only one game this weekend as Sioux City will face the team that knocked them out of the 2011 Clark Cup Playoffs for the first time this season in the Sioux Falls Stampede at Sioux Falls Arena. The Musketeers went 5-2-1 against the Stampede in the regular season last year but fell 2 games to 1 to Sioux Falls in the first round of the playoffs. Sioux City enters the game 2-7-0 and the team is looking to turn around a rough stretch where the Musketeers have lost six of their last seven games. Sioux Falls is 3-3-1 and sits three points ahead of their division rivals. If fans can't make the short drive to support the team, then be sure to watch and/or listen to Curtis Anderson and Jordan Berger as they'll have the call of the lone game this weekend on Fox Sports Radio 620 KMNS as well as on the USHL's new online broadcast partner Fast Hockey.

SOCK IT TO ME PROMOTION ON NOVEMBER 12th

The Musketeers will be having their 2nd annual "Sock It To Me" promotion on Saturday, November 12th when Sioux City hosts the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at Tyson Events Center. The event benefits the Goodwill Shoe Program and just like last year, the Musketeers encourage everyone to bring a pair of socks to be thrown on to the ice after the Musketeers score their first goal in Saturday's game.

We also advise fans to wrap the socks in a plastic bag as last year some of the socks got wet as they laid on the ice. It's a great event that benefits a great cause so get your tickets today and get those socks ready for Saturday, November 12th!
