Muren, 27, batted .286 with 20 doubles, five triples, four home runs, 45 RBIs and 62 runs scored in 92 games for the RedHawks in 2015. He also stole 19 bases in 20 attempts and posted a .355 on-base percentage. In addition, Muren led all American Association outfielders with 256 putouts and was fourth in assists with nine.

Muren joined the RedHawks last season after spending 2014 with the Sioux Falls Canaries and the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He began his professional career in 2011 after being selected by the Houston Astros in the 22nd round of that year's draft out of Cal State Northridge, where he was teammates with fellow RedHawks player Ryan Pineda. In five professional seasons, Muren has batted .276 with 87 doubles, 19 triples, 23 home runs, 168 RBIs and 259 runs scored in 452 games.

Morales, 29, joins the RedHawks after spending the 2015 season with Sussex County. He batted .223 with nine doubles, one home run, 28 RBIs and 31 runs scored in 96 games. Morales' .972 fielding percentage was tops among Can-Am League shortstops last season and he recorded 281 assists versus just 12 errors.

Morales has spent his whole professional career in independent baseball, including five seasons in the American Association: Fort Worth Cats (2010-11), Sioux Falls Canaries (2012-2013) and Amarillo Sox (2014). In his career, Morales has batted .261 with 80 doubles, three triples, 16 home runs, 207 RBIs, 253 runs scored and 57 stolen bases. He attended college at the University of Northern Colorado.
