Multiple Sky Players Make History; Chicago Falls to Mystics in OT Thriller, 85-89

TONIGHT'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE

Washington saw four players and Chicago saw five players (Kahleah Copper, Stefanie Dolson, Courtney Vandersloot, Allie Quigley and Candace Parker) score in double figures as the Sky fell to the Mystics in overtime, 85-89.

Chicago guard Allie Quigley passed DeWanna Bonner for 19th all-time on the WNBA three-pointers made list with 430 and finished the game 4 of 8 from beyond the arc.

With her sixth rebound tonight, Sky forward Candace Parker became the ninth player in WNBA history to grab 3,000 rebounds. In fact, she reached this total in just 349 games, which is the fourth-fastest in league history.

Sky guard Courtney Vandersloot dished out 15 assists against the Mystics, which was her 65th game with double-figure assists. As a result, she moved past Ticha Penicheiro (64 games) to set a new WNBA record.

NEXT UP: The Sky trio of guard Courtney Vandersloot, forward Candace Parker and forward Kahleah Copper will participate in the 2021 WNBA All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 14, at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. In addition, Sky guard Allie Quigley will take part in the MTN DEW 3-Point Contest during halftime. Sky fans can catch all of the action by tuning into ESPN at 6 p.m. CT (7 p.m. ET).
