Carolina Mudcats News Release

Zebulon, NC --- The Cincinnati Reds have made a pair of roster moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats prior to tonight's series opener against the Tennessee Smokies.

OF/IF Todd Frazier has been promoted to Triple-A Louisville, while IF Kristopher Negron has been promoted to Carolina from High-A Sarasota.

Frazier exits the league after recording a league-high 56 extra base hits, including 40 doubles, which is the second most in Carolina history. Negron joins the Mudcats after spending his first few games in the Cincinnati organization. Negron was acquired by the Reds in a trade with the Boston Red Sox, in which the Reds shipped SS Alex Gonzalez to Boston.

Carolina's active roster is at the Southern League limit of 24 players.
