
Mudcats Rained out on Fourth of July; Doubleheader Scheduled for Friday at 5:00 p.m.

ZEBULON, N.C. - Tonight's game between the Carolina Mudcats and Frederick Keys at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C. has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, July 5 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with stadium gates scheduled to open at 4:00 p.m.
As previously scheduled, Friday's doubleheader will still include the Mudcats for America fireworks extravaganza promotion with fireworks scheduled after game two of the doubleheader. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games with game one beginning at 5:00 p.m. and game two beginning approximately :30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.
As per team policy, fans may exchange their tickets to Thursday's postponed, Fourth of July Mudcats for America, game for seats to a future regular season home game for equal ticket value. Comparable tickets, however, purchased for the Fourth of July game are subject to availability. Those looking to exchange their tickets can reach the team box office at 919-269-CATS (2287) beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
Ticket stubs, meanwhile, from Thursday's game can be exchanged for free parking to Friday's doubleheader. There are no cash refunds for tickets or parking. Fans who already had tickets to Friday's game will be able to use their tickets for both games of the doubleheader.
