
Mud Hens Unveil 2015 New Foods

TOLEDO, OH - Our chefs spent the off-season locked behind closed doors in our taste testing lab, aimed at enhancing the culinary experience for fans at Fifth Third Field. The Toledo Mud Hens are excited to unveil several new tempting and delicious additions to our menu lineup for the 2015 season!
Fans will find these mouth-watering items at the concourse restaurants.
Fried Green Tomato Burger: A 1/3-pound grilled Angus burger smothered with mozzarella cheese, fried green tomatoes and bistro sauce served on a fresh Kaiser bun. Available at Gilhooley's.
Mac and Cheese Burger: A 1/3 pound grilled Angus burger covered with bacon and mac and cheese served on a fresh Kaiser bun. Available at Gilhooley's.
Cheddar Peppercorn Sausage: A cheddar cheese and peppercorn filled smoked sausage topped with sauerkraut served on a fresh pretzel bun. Available at Suds & Wieners.
Nutella Poppers: Mini fried Danish poppers filled with Nutella sprinkled with powdered sugar. Available at Hen & Hound.
Pineapple Habanero Sundae: Vanilla ice cream topped with deep fried pineapple bites, habanero glaze and whipped cream. Available at Farr Out Funnels.
Oreo Churro: A warm chocolate Oreo pastry served with Oreo ice cream. Available at El Burrito Misterio and the Kiosk at Section 113.
Triple Play Nachos : Pork skins topped with We Be Ribs pulled pork, bacon and nacho cheese served with tomatoes, jalapenos and sour cream. Available at El Burrito Misterio.
S'More Donut: A donut cut in half, filled with chocolate pieces, graham cracker and marshmallow mascarpone then grilled. Available at the Tom+Chee Kiosk at Section 113.
Grilled Cheese Donut : Cheddar cheese is sandwiched between two donuts then grilled. Available at the Tom+Chee Kiosk at Section 113.
These new menu additions are available at the BirdCage Bar and Grill, offering a full-service dining experience on the Club Level at Fifth Third Field:
Holy Toledo Chicken Sandwich: A one-pound grilled chicken breast topped with creamy Italian dressing, lettuce, tomato and onion served on a submarine roll.
House Sirloin: A juicy and delicious 8-ounce Sirloin steak expertly seasoned and seared to keep its bold flavor.
Chili Mac: Our house chili poured over tender pasta and covered in melted cheese.
Chicken Kabobs : Tender chicken skewered with onions, peppers and grape tomatoes, served with delicious Cous Cous.
Red Velvet Cake: A striking red cake with rich, cream cheese mousse, whipped cream and red velvet cake crumbs and a scoop of Toft's vanilla ice cream.
The Mud Hens take the home field for the first time in 2015 with a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 16. The Walleye hit the Huntington Center ice at 8:15 p.m. that evening for their first home playoff game.
Fans can purchase a special tripleheader combo ticket for $30, providing admittance to the games at both Fifth Third Field and Huntington Center on April 16. Tripleheader combo tickets are on sale now at the Mud Hens and Walleye box office, by phone at 419-725-9255, or www.mudhens.com.
