Levine's Summary

The movie is about a news anchorman Ron Burgundy (Will Farrell), who works for a TV station in San Diego, CA in the 1970's. He enjoys drinking scotch and smoking a cigarette before reading the news each night at six p.m. The story goes on to tell about how this was the age when only men were allowed to read the news. Despite having the number one rated news in the city, Burgundy's boss Ed Harken (Fred Willard) decides to bring in a female journalist Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) to help out with the current all-male news team. Corningstone falls for Burgundy and later steals his position away from him. Burgundy and his news team fight back to try and save Ron's job.

Levine's Impression

The movie was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing at the way all the characters dressed and acted. It had a good story and you know Will Farrell is always going to make you laugh. His supporting actors and actresses really did a good job of making their characters funny as well. There wasn't a lot of special effects in the movie, but there was a lot of special guest appearances made from the cast of "Old School" that made the movie even funnier.

Levine's Rating

If your ready for a good laugh then you definitely need to check out this movie. It's one of the funniest comedies I've seen all year.

Rating System:

Field Goal: The movie has potential to be MONEY

Safety: Take your chances with this one.

Sack: Avoid this movie at all costs.
