Players Stay Busy With Appearances Planned This Week

MANCHESTER, N.H. (July 14, 2004) – The Manchester Wolves (arenafootball2) will be out and about in the community this week and into the weekend supporting charitable causes and local events.

The team's first appearance this week will be tomorrow (Thursday, July 15) when members of the Wolves, Head Coach Ron Hill and Director of Sales and Marketing Brady Sadler will be at Camp Foster in Bedford spending time with members of the Manchester Boys & Girls Club. The Wolves' visit at Camp Foster (located just off Black River Road in Bedford) will be from 12:30 – 2:00 PM.

The second special event scheduled this week will be taking place this Saturday, July 17, when Wolves quarterback Chris Sanders will serve as the "Guest Bartender" at the Wild Rover Restaurant & Pub in downtown Manchester (Kosciuszko Street). Sanders and some of his friends from the Wolves will be on hand at the pub from 5:00 – 9:00 PM serving drinks and mingling with patrons. A portion of the proceeds from the evening's sales will go to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The Wolves have experienced a tremendous outreach of support by fans throughout New Hampshire and beyond in this, their inaugural 2004 season. The game has taken off not only for of its fast-paced, hard-hitting style, but also because of its fan-friendly atmosphere, which emphasizes accessibility to players by way of mandatory post-game autograph sessions and other special events.

Next Home Game - Friday, July 16 vs. Cape Fear Wildcats - "70's Night"

Fans are invited to join the Wolves for their next home game on Friday, July 16 against the Cape Fear Wildcats at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Remember, it's 70's Night and everyone is invited to don their finest duds from back in the day. Kick-off for this event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the first 2,000 fans through the doors will receive a FREE travel mug, courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts, Bank of New Hampshire and Cool 96.5 FM.
