Whether you're a fan of the Riptide or just a fan of football, you'll want to make sure that you make it to see Riptide Head Coach Mouse Davis, along with former NFL quarterback and current USD Head Coach Jim Harbaugh at the San Diego Hall of Champions monthly "Sports at Lunch" meeting on June 23.
The event, which will feature speeches, along with a question-and-answer session with both coaches, kicks off at 11:30 a.m. in the Walter J. Zable room at the San Diego Hall of Champions in Balboa Park.
This is a prime opportunity for football fans to hear from one of the most distinguished and experienced coaches in football history and a quarterback who spent 15 seasons in the NFL! Whether you want to find out about the Riptide's playoff chances, the changes in store for the Tereros, or have your own idea for a can't miss trick play to share with the two coaches, this is your chance!
Tickets for Hall members are just $25 ($35 for non-members) and can be purchased by calling the Hall of Champions at (619)699-2321.

Also, don't forget that the Riptide return home to the Sports Arena on Saturday, June 26 to take on the Bakersfield Blitz in a game that could determine the division lead. In addition to their many community appearances, the Riptide Girls also head up the Junior Riptide Dance Team, which teaches youngters how to dance like the pro's and even gives them a chance to dance at an actual Riptide home game!

June 9: Military Appreciation Fair
Ripper and the Riptide Dance Team will be at the MCCS Miramar Military Appreciation Vendor Fair, taking pictures and signing autographs with active duty marines.
June 12: Boys & Girls Club of San Dieguito Seaside Stride
The Seaside Stride is an annual event to benefit the scholarship fund of the San Dieguito Boys and Girls Club. This year, several Riptide players along with members of the staff will be on hand to sign autographs and enjoy the fun of the walk-a-thon and post-walk beach party.
June 12: Grand Opening of Net Carbs Café and Marketplace
Members of the Riptide Dance Team will be on hand for pictures and autographs at the grand opening of the all-new Net Carbs Café and Marketplace. "Net Carbs Cafe' & Marketplace" is located at 11385 Poway Road, just off Interstate 15. For more information, log onto www.netcarbscafe.com.
June 15: Marine Corps Fundraiser
The Riptide Dancers will be at the Marine Corps fundraiser to help sell tickets for their Marine Corps Ball and promote the Riptide at the Marine Corps base from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
June 18: Marine Corps Barracks Bash
San Diego Riptide Cheerleaders will be on hand for the Marine Corps Barracks Bash on June 18, signing autographs, taking pictures and helping out with the games, food and music. The event will run from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. in Miramar.
June 26: Military Appreciation and Barracks Bash
Members of the Riptide Dance Team will be attending the MCCS Miramar Military Appreciation and Barracks Bash, interacting with active duty marines, taking pictures and signing autographs.
July 2: La Jolla YMCA Flag Football Camp
Riptide players will be out to help coach players in the La Jolla YMCA Flag Football Camp from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The players will also take pictures and sign autographs while helping the kids to learn the skills needed to succeed in pro football.
July 4: Mira Mesa YMCA 4th of July Celebration
Riptide players will be out at the Mira Mesa Rec Center from 10 a.m. til noon to sign autographs and mingle with fans at the Mira Mesa YMCA's annual 4th of July Celebration.
