Arkansas Travelers News Release

MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Los Angeles Angels announced that right handed pitcher Bobby Mosebach has been transferred to class AAA Salt Lake. Joining the Travelers on the road trip in Texas is right hander Ryan Brasier, the Angels sixth round draft choice in 2007.

Mosebach made three appearances in relief for Arkansas, pitching five scoreless innings. The West Palm Beach native was selected by the Phillies in the Rule Five draft at the winter meetings, then was the last cut at Phillies major league camp. He was returned to the Angels just before the start of the season and now will make his class AAA debut in his first appearance with Salt Lake.

Brasier has risen quickly to double A after being selected with the Angels sixth round draft choice in 2007 out of Weatherford (TX) College. Over his first two pro seasons Brasier held a 2.03 ERA in 56 relief appearances. He began the 2009 season in the bullpen at Rancho Cucamonga and went 1-0, 1.35 ERA in 3 games.

The Travs finish a three-game series at Midland tonight then head to Frisco for a Sunday afternoon tilt with Frisco.
