MOOSE JAW, SK - A complete-team effort saw the Saskatoon Blades throw an unconverted touchdown on the board at Mosiac Place, led by a two-goal performance by Alex Morozoff.

The Saskatoon product notched a pair for the first time as a Blade, Koen MacInnes picked up a 19-save shutout, and the Blades smashed the Warriors 6-0 on Tuesday night.

Morozoff earned the game's first star, although there were a number of fellow teammates also worthy of the honour. NHL draft eligible prospect Tristen Robins picked up a goal, an assist and the night's second star, while Zach Huber rounded out the third star with two helpers.

Morozoff and company exploded out of the gate, scoring the opening marker just 1:51 into the game. Kyle Crnkovic followed up with his third goal in three games less than two minutes later to give the Blades a 2-0 lead. With just under six minutes remaining in the opening frame, Morozoff whacked home his second of the evening, finishing off a cross-crease play by Zach Huber, opening the flood gates at Mosaic Place.

Captain Chase Wouters and assistant captain Riley McKay also netted goals for the Blades, who are winners of three straight. Fellow assistant captain Nolan Kneen stretched his point-streak to four games with one assist and a +3 rating.

Toon Town outshot Moose Jaw by a commanding 47-19 clip, holding the Warriors to less than eight shots in each of the three periods. Neither team capitalized on the powerplay, with Saskatoon held off the scoresheet on three opportunities and successfully killing two penalties.

It's the third time this season Saskatoon has held Moose Jaw off the scoresheet. It's also the fifth straight win for the Blades over their divisional rivals.

Although he wasn't tested much, MacInnes made several key stops early in the game, setting the tone for his third shutout of the campaign. Of MacInnes' three shutouts, two have come against the Warriors.

The team continues its three-game road trip in Winnipeg on Friday before wrapping up the stint in Brandon the next night. Following this weekend, the crew returns home to welcome the Regina Pats to the Sasktel Centre on Wednesday.
