As of now, the Vancouver Giants will be hosting the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday, March 13th at 7:30 PM as previously scheduled. On Saturday the Giants will head South to face the Seattle Thunderbirds at ShoWare Center in Kent, WA at 6:05 PM in a game that will be closed to the general public. The Giants will then return home on Sunday, March 15th for a 4:00 PM game against the Prince George Cougars as previously scheduled.

*Saturday's game in Seattle can be watched via WHL Live, and heard via radio on Sportsnet 650.

The Vancouver Giants will continue to welcome fans to the Langley Events Centre and are looking forward to an exciting final stretch of games that have huge WHL playoff implications. This ongoing situation will continue to be closely monitored and the powers involved will remain vigilant in providing a safe, sanitary, enjoyable experience for all fans. Additional cleaning in the Langley Events Centre has been added for high touch areas and for high traffic areas within the facility. The Langley Events Centre will actively monitor hand-washing facilities throughout the games to ensure that appropriate supplies are available.

The risk of British Columbians contracting the Coronavirus remains low, according to the BC Centre for Disease Control. But as this issue continues to evolve, we want to remind fans who will be attending games this weekend of the following advice and precautions that are recommended by the BC Centre for Disease Control:

- Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds.

- If hand-washing is not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

- When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose.

- Avoid touching of your own face, mouth, eyes and nose.

- Avoid unnecessary physical contact with others, especially those who are unwell.

- If you are feeling ill, please stay home.
