Mooseheads Extend Contract with Rogers Media Radio Station NEWS 95.7
Halifax, N.S. - The Halifax Mooseheads are proud to announce that they have extended their agreement with Rogers Media radio station NEWS 95.7, keeping the local station as the exclusive radio broadcast station of the Halifax Mooseheads.
"We're fortunate to have a radio broadcast partner like News 95.7 that is focused on providing our great fan base with coverage of all Mooseheads games during the regular season and playoffs" stated Brian Urquhart, President Halifax Mooseheads. "We look forward to another exciting season of Mooseheads hockey on News 95.7."
NEWS 95.7's Director of News and Programming, Mark Campbell said the radio station is happy to continue the tradition of providing fans a chance to listen to all 68 Mooseheads home and away games plus playoffs.
"The Halifax Mooseheads have been a cornerstone in our sports line-up for the past decade, and we are proud to continue serving our community and local sports fans through this partnership with the Moose."
NEWS 95.7 play by play announcer Garreth MacDonald will be on the air for the Mooseheads regular season opener tomorrow night when Halifax visits Saint John at 7:00pm. The Mooseheads home opener at the Scotiabank Centre is set for Friday, September 27th at 7:00pm versus the Charlottetown Islanders.
