Halifax Mooseheads News Release
Halifax Mooseheads announced today several changes to the format for the Mooseheads' 2007-2008 schedule.
Halifax will now play eight games against the St. John's Fog Devils next season, four at home and four at St. John's, instead of the 10 games previously announced.
As well, Halifax will also play eight games against the Lewiston MAINEiacs, up two from the schedule format announced last week, leaving the Mooseheads' 2007-08 schedule at 70 games, 35 at home, 35 on the road.
"Although it appears that this is a minor alteration in the schedule, it took a lot of effort and some great collaboration between the league and the effected teams of the Eastern Division," Patenaude said.
"With this new format, it means that no team will play 10 games against any opponent, which was the goal we were striving for."
