Moose Re-assign Coulombe to Victoria

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have re-assigned defenceman Patrick Coulombe to the Victoria Salmon Kings.

Coulombe, 21, has played in 44 games in his rookie season with the Moose. The St. Fabien, PQ native has scored three goals and six assists for nine points and 22 penalty minutes in that time. Coulombe has already appeared in three games with the Salmon Kings this season and also saw action in seven games with the Vancouver Canucks. With Vancouver, he collected one assist and four penalty minutes.

Coulombe was signed to an NHL contract as an undrafted free agent by the Canucks on Oct. 31/06.
