Moose Jaw Warriors Take 3-1 Series Lead Over The Calgary Hitmen

Moose Jaw, SK - Jeff Bosch made 35 saves as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Calgary Hitmen 4-3 Tuesday night to take a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarter-Final Series.

The Warriors win at the Civic Centre was the first home ice victory for either side in the series.

Moose Jaw's Thomas Frazee scored once and set up another helping the Warriors build a 4-1 second period lead.

The Hitmen would rally back, getting to within a goal with less than 12 minutes remaining but could get no closer as Bosch made several key saves down the stretch.

Joel Broda, Cody Sylvester and Giffen Nyren all scored for Calgary who outshot Moose Jaw 38-37.

The series now shifts back to Calgary Thursday night for Game 5 with a 7pm puck drop at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
