Moose Announce Details on the Chronicle Herald Teddy Bear Toss

The Mooseheads announced details today on their annual teddy bear toss which will be held Friday, January 28th when the Herd hosts the Baie-Comeau Drakkar at 7pm. The presenting sponsor for the event will be The Chronicle Herald.

The Mooseheads and The Chronicle Herald are offering a Buy One Get One coupon to each fan that brings a bear to the game on the 28th. The coupon can be used for either the March 9th game versus PEI or the March 18th game versus Acadie-Bathurst. Fans that cannot make the game on the 28th can also drop off bears at the Antlers Merchandise Store, located in the Halifax Metro Centre, to receive a Buy One Get One coupon.

"Our goal is to double the amount of bears we traditionally collect during this annual event" stated Brian Urquhart, Vice President Business Operations. "It's a fun event for a great cause that our organization and our fans look forward to each season".

All the bears are turned over to the kids at Ronald McDonald House following the game.
