
Moore Waived, Regular Season Opens Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever has waived six-year WNBA veteran Jessica Moore, three days before opening its 12th season this Saturday, June 4, against the Chicago Sky (7:00 p.m.)
Moore, a 6-3 forward/center, played two seasons in Indiana after beginning her career with the Charlotte Sting and Los Angeles Sparks. She was an integral part of the Fever's run to the 2009 WNBA Finals. Since her arrival in Indianapolis three games into the 2009 season, Moore played in 64 of the club's 65 games. She averaged 3.9 points and 2.6 rebounds per game for the Fever.
A WNBA playoff participant in six straight seasons and seven times since 2002, the Indiana Fever begins its 12th season by hosting the Chicago Sky on Saturday, June 4 (7:00 p.m.).
